If you love a good art fair, be sure to make it to the Kentucky Crafted market, which is happening this weekend in Louisville at the State Fair grounds. Sponsored by the Kentucky Arts Council, this indoor extravaganza of hand-made art and craft works features so many exhibitors that you may not be able to see everything in one day. Still, it’s worth a try. You’ll find pieces like Jason Wolff’s pottery bird houses and baths, which were created with the help of the Columbus Center for Human Services, in an art studio for developmentally disabled participants. Or, you’ll discover unique and precious art forms, like Linda Caristo’s translucent enamelled insects, made using a little known technique.
