You can pick up some basic gardening information this Saturday, May 12, 2012. From 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Gainesway Community Center, a collaborative of advisors will be giving basic how-to instruction on making container gardens, raised beds, herb growing, and soil preparation. While supplies last, each family will receive a free garden kit of plants, seeds, a book and a hand trowel. Thanks to the Fayette County Cooperative Extension Service Master Gardeners, Seedleaf, Blue Grass Community Foundation, and Parks and Recreation.
