Discover Gardening is the theme of the 2013 Lexington Lions Club Bluegrass Fair flower show, being held at Masterson Station park July 13 and 14.  Co-sponsored by the Fayette County Master Gardener Association and the Lexington Council Garden Clubs, this show is both a judged fruit, flower and vegetable growing horitulture contest, as well as a standard flower show where you can pick up ideas on all sorts of things to grow in your own garden, and enjoy viewing themed floral arrangements. Entries: 9-11:30 a.m.  July 13; Judging 1 p.m.  The show is open to the public for viewing 3-10 p.m. both July 13 and 14.  Entry is free with general fair admission.
